Stillwater Software was formed to fill a gap in WEB development. There are too many places that have a canned approached to building web sites, a sort of “one size fits all” approach. There are also too many people that want to sell you what you don’t need, such as big flash intros etc. While technology has grown by leaps and bounds, there has been no constraint as to when technology is appropriate, and when it is not. If your site is too cluttered, too busy, too *big* to download quickly, most people will just go somewhere else, and you will have lost a customer. First impressions *DO* matter!

Our Beliefs

When a company builds a web site, it should reflect their character, put on a good face for potential customers, be professional, and achieve the goals of the company, be it advertising, selling products, offering coupons, or just to explain who and what they are.

We believe in ethics, honesty, and fairness. If we can’t give you what you want, we will tell you upfront and help you understand what to ask other designers.

Pricing

We will not give just a generic price for your WEB site, because that practice will invariably result in a higher cost for you. Should you choose to use us to give you a great WEB presence, we will give you a quote for the work based on what you want, not what we want to give you! 

Experience

We have over 20 years programming experience, We have run a small retail store, where we built and ran an e-commerce site. We discovered all the pitfalls, and problems and will steer you clear of this. We have a portfolio of happy web design clients and will do all we can to make you one of them!
